Electrolysis
Electrolysis was first discovered in 1875, when Dr. Charles E. Michael removed ingrown eyelashes on himself. Dr. Michael was an Opthalmologist.
A needle the same size as the hair being treated is inserted into the hair follicle, along side of the hair. This is an opening in the skin, there is no puncturing of the skin, with no bleeding involved. A small amount of electrical current (heat) is applied to this area, which is called the “papilla” the blood supply to the hair. Hair grows from this blood supply. The heat shuts down the blood flow to the hair germ cells, where the hair itself is formed. This process takes a series of treatments, but once the series is completed , your hair problem is eliminated.
Electrolysis is the only known and proven method of permanent hair removal.
Laser hair removal has been approved by the FDA as a hair reduction method.
Reduction means= long term Permanent Removal= gone forever.
INTRADERMAL COSMETICS
Micropigmentation or Permanent Cosmetics
Permanent Cosmetics- this method is achieved by inserting a tiny needle like instrument into the skin, after it has been dipped into the pigment (color), implanting the color into the 4th and 5th layer of the skin (dermal layer), where the color stays, for a period of time. This color is now visible on the top layer of the skin, (Epidermal layer).
Permanent makeup can be applied to the EYEBROWS, LIP and LIP LINE , and upper and lower EYELINER.
Some of the many reasons why men and women choose permanent makeup:
- Has you looking fresh from morning until night
- Saves the time and hassles of applying makeup everyday
- Athletic people, and those with oily skin, who tend to shed makeup easily
- People with allergies to conventional makeup
- Those who are physically incapable of applying makeup
The pigments that are used, are 100% natural, no lead products.
MICRODERMABRASION= “SmartPeel”
Helps to restore damaged skin, reduces fine lines, reduces hyperpigmentation and improves acne scars. This treatment leaves the skin feeling and looking “silky smooth” with virtually no recovery time.
It is safe for all skin types, and rapidly exfoliates most all dead skin cells, this treatment also increases the circulation of bood to the skin cells, leaving your skin with a healthy glow. By doing this treatment, collogen production is increased to the skin, in the area that is being treated, thus producing a tight and firm feeling of the skin.
Best results are achieved through a series of 6 treatments, over a period of 12 weeks. Thereafter, ideal maintenance is every 4-6 weeks.
